alice rahon book design. this 128-page book is the first monograph on the painter-poet in english. it features highlights of her artwork from 1939 through the 1970s and includes an introduction by wendi norris and new research and essays. the sequence and revealing gatefolds in the book allude to the reserved quality of the artist herself, nudging the viewer to explore various layers to experience the breadth of the work.
